It is not suppose to
hurt, but to make you happy. It is suppose to consist of respect, honesty, comfort,
communication, trust together with good bad times. It is suppose to be real not
fake. How can one love but have no heart in the relationship? How do you define
love? What does it mean to you? How does it make you feel? How do you act when
you are in love?
In recent years, people
do not love for real but to just pass time and for their own benefits which are
money, fame and material. Others for a one night stand only. It hurts to know
that the one you love is playing pass time with you, whilst you are planning
big for them.
It has never been easy
to maintain a relationship and to keep it going for years but yes it is easy to
fall in love and to love.
Bohlale’s story;
Bohlale got into a
relationship not knowing what it is expected of her but she made sure that
whatever it takes, she is going to make the relationship work. She was in a
relationship and decided to end it and continue with the one she just got into.
Things seems to be going well, “actually great”- she said
For the first time
things seems to be going great for her in the relationship. It was the first
relationship that she got into and got treated like a queen, made to feel loved
and appreciated. Days turned into months but a year was never reached.
To her disappointment,
the love started to have a leak, no more good times. He doesn’t call or return text
messages. Suddenly the number doesn’t work anymore. When she calls all she gets
is a lady voice saying “the number you have dialled does not exist”. Oh my
WORD! What is she going to do? She’s four months pregnant and HIV positive and
the daddy nowhere to be found.
From that, her worst
nightmare, she does not know where the guy is from, his home. She only knew the
apartment that he rented plus his fake name and now it has a new tenant, whom doesn’t
know anything about the past tenant. Bohlale’s world became so tiny. She did
not know what to do next. She cried day and night. She tried to go back to her
ex boyfriend whom she dumped like trash, and as the poor ex boyfriend never stopped
loving her, he gave her a shoulder to cry on and support but never did they get
back together.
Well as for the
boyfriend that left her with unplanned pregnancy and HIV, he is married with 7
kids and was using Bohlale to get over his stress at home. When things got
fixed at his home, he packed his everything and went to his lovely family. Poor
Bohlale who left his honest, loving and caring boyfriend to a boyfriend with
money, cars and a flashy apartment has a herself to blame today. She is a
single mother and not working but relies on child support grant. There’s that
one person who truly loves you yet you are too damn busy with material lo
notice that.
