WHERE DO WE GO?

WHERE DO WE GO? HOW DO WE GO ABOUT?

Life doesn’t always give us what we want. Only your believe and determination will get you where you want to be.  In life we go through different challenges, be of easy or hard they are all part of a learning curve. We learn something with that, even our mistakes do count.  Self-motivation goes a long way and it is not for the faint hearted. One needs to know how to motivate themselves especially when times are hard as it is not every time that people do give positive motivation.
In this life nothing is smooth sailing, you work for it, you sweat for it, well unless otherwise.  Have you noticed that we are motivated to go to school and learn so that we will become better people for tomorrow? Well most people believe in that as it is said you can never achieve anything without education because it is the key to your greater opportunities/success.
This has become so overrated. Why? It is because in this nowadays one goes to school for the whole three years and learn all the traits of the career they want to be in, then after so much dedication to their work, they graduate then stay at home for years only because everywhere they want people with years of experience. Well am a fresh graduate where will I get experience when you don’t allow me that opportunity?
Moments later we end up settling for any job just because we need to support our families and help our siblings to also go to school and be the same as us, waiting for experience that will come from nowhere then get hired. Why are we forced to get educated only to be refused opportunities because of experience? Isn’t that by given a chance that’s when we going to learn and gain that experience?
Not all of us have the heads to be entrepreneurs. If we did then we would be talking another story. Everything has its person/people. We do volunteer at NGO’s but at the end we also need to put something on the table for our families. They sacrificed a lot for us to go to school now it is time for us to give thanks to them.
Are we supposed to be standing on the streets with boards written “please help with a job; I have a BA in Journalism”? Before we can get hired? That seems to be the only way because that’s only when we get recognized.
In this generation we live in. it seems like you only get a job by knowing someone, not by your qualifications that you have worked hard to get.
The next thing you will see a BA graduate on the streets smoking weed/nyaope because they waiting for experience to come since all companies told him that he is well qualified but need experience. Really? Is this how things are supposed to be?
