Whenever they see an old women looking all dodgy and
weird, they already accuse her of possessing witchcraft? Already they want to
burn her alive. What has this world turned into? If you believe in witchcraft
then how can you prove that it exits? Not everyone is a believer into such
things.
We are losing our great grandparents because of some
accusations that are based on myths and maybe science. We supposed to love and
respecting these old people. They are here for a good reason, to guide and
groom us into better people for tomorrow.
How about some gratitude. What will you do if it is your grandmother
that they accusing of witchcraft? I bet it won’t be of good.
Who have seen a naked old women flying with bread? Haaa. So
as I was in a taxi from Midrand going home, some women started talking about
witchcraft and all they did was to criticise old women as they were young. Is
witchcraft practiced by older people only and women only? What about men? Oh
another thing do sangomas also possess witchcraft?
We all have our own perspective of such thing. Some
believe and some don’t believe. But then,
We can’t always live to judge people because of how they
look or what they do. We are not God and we are not sent by God to come and
judge His children. He is the creator of life.
Leave our grandparents alone.
