DEAR UNFAIR

DEAR UNFAIR

By Rebecca Masina

Putting up a face is not easy at all. You can do it as many times to try to perfect it but hey it is very hard out there. You always see people out there sitting and saying there are no jobs and you will be thinking “yes there are no jobs because you are sitting here and waiting for a job to come to you”. Well sometimes judging is wrong, concluding without facts it is wrong. We all have dreams. They might be bigger or smaller but the truth remains that we all have dreams. Size does not matter. I for one have been under a lot of strain yet no one can really tell that I have.

Some people out there when they say they tried and they even thinking of giving up, it is not because they are lazy or they are not motivated. Truth is you can go to school and study hard for that certificate, diploma, and degree and to mention a few. At the end you still have to go out there and look for a job. Jobs are scares not to mention that, these days it is all about who you know and not what you have. Our papers these days do not weigh as much. One may be qualified more than the other but just because you don’t know someone, then you lose the opportunity that you worked hard for. That we call “life is hard” oh yes “life is unfair”.

Isn’t that we go to higher institution so that we can better our lives? Yet it seems like it is the more we go deeper into poverty. Names are put for people who try to make money by selling their bodies and judge them, yet we do not know where they come from. We did not walk in their shoes.

People with university papers have been at home for more than 4 four years without jobs. They tried, hustled like nobody’s business, but no luck. On the other hand some have to give out cash to get jobs. How will you be able to give cash that you don’t have in order to get a job? The world we live in. if you go to many companies to check who has the right papers for the positions they are in, well you will see things. “Shockers”. We are told and taught to be entrepreneurs but let’s face it not everyone can be an entrepreneur. Same as not all of us can sing. It has its own people.

some people even resort to crime.

It is said that a prayer helps and Gods timing is always the best. Well it’s all up to how much you believe. No one is opposing that statement but you spend more than a decade after graduating looking for job and you still say Gods timing is always the best? Huh? We pray, we praise and believe but for how long? Pray until something happens.  That statement is always said but those who already made it and I am sure they only saying that and them, themselves did not do it. It is motivation but for how long?

DEAR UNFAIR as we believing.
