10 Rules For Finding Love On Tinder

1. Pick good photos

You want your photos to showcase your best right?. This means they are good, but realistic.

2. Be very upfront about what you want

If you’re only looking to hookup then you don’t have to worry about stating what you want, though if you’re looking for a Real Relationship you want to make that clear as soon as possible. There’s a big chunk of people on Tinder that aren’t looking for that, so you want to weed them out before you get sucked into someone.

3. Ask the person you’re talking to what they are looking for

Its vital to know what to expect from the other person.

4. Don’t waste time on what you don’t want

So you meet a hunk, cool person who you want to hang out with, but you know he isn’t long term material.

5. Don’t be afraid of having a bad first date

Bad first dates do happen.

6. Always Keep an open mind

Think about the opposite sex friends you have in real life. Go on Facebook and look at a few of their pics, would you swipe right?  Tinder is 95% based on looks and initial attraction, you still need to interpret that loosely.

7. DONT SWIPE RIGHT ON FACELESS AB PHOTOS

They are not looking for love! that I promise!

8. Don’t swipe right on everyone

Some say it’s best to swipe right on every single person because you can amass matches as quickly as possible. The problem with this is that your inbox because extremely cluttered to the point that it’s un-navigatable. You’ll miss messages from people because Tinder’s inbox feature sucks and sends you a “message” every time you match with someone and real messages can get buried. Plus, it’s just bad karma. Don’t waste people’s time, don’t waste your own time.

9. Be OK with letting a hot person get away

People who are just looking to hook up will compliment you and seem promising, but you know what they want even if you don’t want to admit it to yourself. You have to be OK watching them walk away for this to work.

10. Remember the kind of person you’re trying to attract, and also act accordingly

Always keep in mind on what kind of a person you are looking for.  at the same time dont settle for less than what you want.

It's Painful

 Rebecca Teffo Masina

I've been meaning to write, but I couldn't bring myself to. However today the 28th of July 2021, I shall. It's not easy, it hurts. Okare motho otlile ka thipa e bogale a nhlaba ka yona mo pelong. They say with time all will be over. How do you get over all this pain, the heartache. I keep denying, thinking it's all a dream that I will wake up from. I'm trying but it doesn't seem to go away. Today was supposed to be one of the best days in my life. However, here I am in pain and tears falling none stop. I keep asking myself what happened, how did it happen, why did I allow it to happen.

I am trying to be strong. I know I am and I can be. Sad thing is I saw all this coming. Everything was there. All the signs but me being me kept denying and believing it's all gonna be fine.

You really broke my heart. I never expected many things from you though it happened that you are always the one that hurts me the most. I don't know why you derive joy in making me miserable. Remember, a day will come; even rat will no longer be scared of the cat.
